There are currently a number of clubs based in Northern Ireland that allow for pretty much all forms of racing especially 10th scale electric on-road cars and 8th scale nitro off-road;
The Ulster Model Car Club (UMCC)
Summer months the UMCC race 1/10th electric at the purpose build track behind the Joey Dunlop leisure centre in Ballymoney.
Winter sees 1/10th and 1/12th electric racing indoors, on carpet, at Bangor Grammar school.

Banbridge and District Model Car Club (BADMCC)
The BADMCC club race 1/8th scale nitro buggy & truggy at their fantastic track in Aghalee all year round.
They run a winter and summer championship

Clogher Valley Model Car Club
They race one night per week from September to June at the Wesleyan Hall, Fivemiletown. Entries start at 7.30pm with the first heat at 8.00pm

Northern Ireland Model Car Club
Northern Ireland Model Car Club was founded in 1992 from then it has grown to be a very friendly and helpful club.
The club is fully affiliated by the British Radio Controlled Car Association which is run by certain regulations and is known as the B.R.C.A. You pay your membership fee to the B.R.C.A annually and this covers you for the years racing with the club.
N.I.M.C.C started racing on-road but now they race 1/8th scale Buggys and Truggys.
In 2009 the club will be constructing its own permanent offroad track in the Ballymena area new members will be very welcome, To find their race locations and more about the club check out their web site at http://www.nimcc.net
Galway Model Car Club

RCCAOI – Radio Control Car Association of Ireland
The RCCAOI is an organization which exists to promote RC car racing in Ireland. It is a forum for the exchange of information in relation to the promotion and development of the sport. Providing both a structured rule set for both car construction and a racing format to encourage racing in the National Series while preparing drivers for International events. We are affiliated to E.F.R.A. who are the European governing body for radio controlled automobiles.
The Association is made up of drivers from the whole of Ireland who participate in a number of events throughout the country. Classes vary from Petrol / Nitro to Electric power vehicles with various tracks from outdoor off-road / outdoor on-road to indoor carpet racing. For anyone interested in participating on a National level please take a moment to review are list of clubs for more details on getting involved in the sport.

Drop Inn Racing
Drop Inn Racing race 1/10 off-road electric buggies every other Wednesday night in the Drop Inn Youth Centre, Highfield, Craigavon. BT64 3AA
Classes currently run for 2 wheel drive, 4 wheel drive and separate class for juniors. 1/10 electric trucks are welcome, in fact any 1/10 or smaller electric vehicle that can get over the jumps and bumps is welcome!
We aim to be a friendly mid week club run mostly for the craic, but still good practice for those who take their weekend racing much more seriously!!
Timing via i-Laps computer system, hand out transponders available.
